Bat Benefits

The HyperWhip Fusion brings together two beloved baseball bat features in a single bat. (1) It is going to deliver to the stiff feel of a one-piece and all-alloy baseball bat. Players flock to one-piece bats as they feel that all the power they put into their swing is transferred into the distance of their hit. (2) The HyperWhip Composite End-Cap is going to lighten up the barrel end of the bat. Typically, all-alloy bats can feel slightly heavier in the barrel. However, Axe found a way to seamlessly fuse the HyperWhip Composite End-Cap to the alloy barrel of the bat. The presence of the composite end cap should make this bat feel just as lightweight as most two-piece, all-composite bats (which are well known for being very balanced in their feel).

As exciting as the technology of the bat’s barrel will be, the handle is just as great! This bat will indeed have an axe-shaped handle & knob. However, Axe kicks things up a notch with their Power Handle technology. Due to the Power Handle tech, this HyperWhip Fusion’s handle is curved on its backside where it meets the knob. This handle & knob shaping allows for a more “free swing” & can unlock power potential with some stronger batters. The Power Handle technology is extremely exciting, but it is worth noting that a small amount of barrel control can be lost due to the shape of the knob. Contact hitters can certainly go for this bat, but they will want to make sure that they know there is a shot the bat will be a tad more difficult to control.
