This baseball bat is crafted by B45! Shortly after maple made its way onto the baseball bat scene in the late 1990s, B45 introduced birch bats to players. Birch is nice because it combines (what a lot of players consider to be) the best feature of maple and the best feature of ash into a single bat. When you hit a baseball, the barrel will feel solid and it will be less prone to chipping (similar to a maple bat). At that same moment of contact, the batter will also feel a slight flex between the barrel and handle portions of the bat (similar to an ash bat). B45’s 141 turn youth bat will be an excellent starting model for any young player being introduced to a wood bat for the first time.
